Scott was able to get off early Friday, so that we could get to Mo Ranch early enough to enjoy ourselves for a little bit. The first thing we did after unpacking was go to the stream that she enjoyed last year. Bailey is a big fan of splashing in the water. So of course she had a blast and immediately got soaked and wanted her shirt off(no surprise).
That night Bailey played football with her cousins, Preston and Jake, and her daddy. Crossing my fingers that she is an athlete when she gets older. But, of course, if she isn't that's okay, too.
Then it was a walk to the bridge and yes, Monkey had to come with us. I'm really hoping that Monkey doesn't go to Kindergarten with her.
The next day we headed to the river. Katie bought Bailey an adorable new swimsuit and lifejacket, since I totally blanked and forgot the one I bought her at home. How cute does she look? Bailey got in the river with her daddy, but that didn't last very long because the water was so cold.

Then we walked to the rapids, which I had heard about last year, but didn't get to experience them. Bailey had a complete blast. Scott and I would take turns letting her "ride the rapids" using her life jacket. She did not want to leave and threw a bit of a fit when we did.

After Bailey (and Mommy) took a 2+ nap, we headed out for more water fun. Pappy went with us to the pool and he and Scott took turns tossing Bailey in the water. Of course, she loved it!
After dinner we headed down to the river where the sand volleyball court is and played our annual water balloon game. It got a little crazy at the end because a ring was lost and the whole family was in the sand digging around trying to find it.

It was such a great weekend and I can't wait for all the memories we will make next year!
Our little part of the Dickerson clan (minus Uncle Tommy) |
Every year we look forward to the reunion and seeing how much all the little ones have grown! So much fun when they're old enough to enjoy some of the activities at MoRanch.
